Carmon Threet, age 90, of Bentonville, April 8, 1924 to March 17, 2015, is survived by son Jimmie, of Shelbyville, Ky. Carmon was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann and son Joe, father Harmon Wilson Threet, mother Pearl Oxford Threet, brother Clinton Threet, and sister Christine Threet Morford. His legacy includes eight grandchildren: Michele Rene' McKnight, Kristen Margaret Wingenbach, William Lee Threet, Nathan Daniel Threet, Denise Threet Pendarvis, Diane Threet Shytle, Amy Elizabeth Hite, Virginia Ann Morgan, and eighteen great-grandchildren; Kenneth L. Threet, Quinton Lee D. McKnight, Zander L. McDaniel, Colter Wingenbach, MacKenzie Efurd, Jacob Rahn, Brionna Lopez, Dakota R. Threet, Kaytlynn Threet, Chelsea D. Threet, Codie L. Threet, Maximus Threet, Juliana R. Threet, Carmen M. Shytle, Lia L. Shytle, Abigail H. Pendarvis, Parker E. Hite, Sydney H. Hite. Carmon was a life-long resident of Bentonville, where he worked as a farmer, mechanic, salesman, and a business owner. He was a Mason, and a member of First Baptist Church of Bentonville, where he served as Deacon. He enjoyed his retirement years traveling with his wife Mary Ann. He loved to fish and was a master cabinet maker. Graveside services for Mr. Threet will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers with Mr. John Hall officiating. Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, at the Funeral Home. Arrangements by Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W Walnut, Rogers, Arkansas.
