Jason Keith Madewell, 34, of Huntsville, passed from this life as he was surrounded by his loved ones at home on March 4, 2015. Jason was born Jan. 2, 1981 in Springdale, Ark. He graduated from Huntsville High School in 1999. He worked as a carpenter at Turl Edens Construction. Jason was a blessing to his mom and dad from the day he was born. He had a heart of gold and did anything he could to help people. He was the best son, grandson, brother, brother-in-law and "Uncle JJ" anyone could have asked for. He loved to hunt, fish, camp and spend time with his family. Jason enjoyed playing football for the Huntsville Eagles from 7th grade through high school. He was a proud Razorback fan and loved watching Razorback football. He will be dearly missed by everyone that knew and loved him. Jason is preceded in death by a grandfather, Adrian Edens; and grandparents, Olan and Polly McGinnis and Glen Madewell. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Turl and Glenda Edens of Springdale; his brother, Joseph Edens and wife Stephanie of Centerton; one niece, Adriahna Marie Edens of Centerton; a grandmother, Juanita Edens of Springdale; a cherished family friend, Jeff Ponder and wife Julie of Lowell; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The visitation will be held from 5 – 7 p.m., Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home in Springdale. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 9, 2015 at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home in Springdale. Interment will follow at Friendship cemetery in Springdale.
