Dixie Tucker Morris, 96, of Fayetteville was called home to God's loving Grace on March 1, 2015. Born on November 8, 1918 to Oliver and Ethel Tucker, she was raised in Highland Community and is a graduate of Farmington Schools. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Morris; son, James Morris; brothers, Frank Tucker and Robert Tucker; and sister, Beulah Davis. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Becky Morris of Longview, Texas; and granddaughters, Christy Beasley, Charae Jones, Kathryn Shaw; and five great-grandchildren. She cherished relationships with numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. She was a long time faithful member of Wiggins United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville on March 5, 2015 at 2 p.m. Visitation will precede the service at 1 p.m. and burial will follow the service at Highland Community Cemetery in Fayetteville under the direction of Beard's Chapel. Special appreciation to her niece, Owanda Davis; nephews, Boyce Davis and Scott Davis; and long-time neighbors, Kenny and Patsy Bogan whose support allowed her to live independently in her home.
