Don Edwin Dickhut, 87, of Rogers passed away Sunday, June 28. He was born July 27, 1927 in Scott City, Kansas to the late Edwin E and Lona Dickhut. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Eva. Survivors include his son, Joe Don Dickhut and wife, Kathryn Fairchild of Jacksonville; his daughter, Debbie Weaver and husband Bob Weaver of Rogers; four grandchildren, Whitney (Ashley) Mann, Adam (Diana) Weaver, Melody (Leonard) Zechiedrich and Matthew Dickhut; six great-grandchildren, Nevlyn, Eli and Tatum Mann, Brooklynn and Charlie Zechiedrich, and Brig Weaver. Don proudly served his country in the US Army. Don and Eva have influenced many lives over the last 40 years through a 12 step recovery program and enjoyed traveling 48 states during many of those years in their motor homes. The family would like to express their gratitude and sincere appreciation to Innisfree Nursing Center, friend and family for their kindness and love. Visitation will be this evening from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and the Funeral service will be tomorrow at 10 a.m., all at First Christian Church, 905 S. 13th St. in Rogers. Interment will follow in Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Rebos, Inc., P.O. Box 2321, Rogers, Arkansas 72757.
