John Raymond "Johnny Mack" McDaniel

John Raymond "Johnny Mack" McDaniel, 79, of Bella Vista, died June 25, 2015. He was born September 26, 1935 in Ottawa, Kan., to John Raymond, Sr. and Alta (Lacy) McDaniel. He moved to Bella Vista in 1974 from Kansas. John was an entertainer of country music, a mechanic, and a maintenance supervisor at Concordia Care Center. He also served our country in the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Mike McDaniel; and two sisters, Juanita Schulz and Snookie McDaniel. Survivors include his loving wife, Jeanie McDaniel of the home; a son, Russell Thomas (Melisa) of Centerton; daughters, Crystal (Kevin) Sherman of Anderson, Mo., and Bonita Downing of Bella Vista, Ark.; one sister, Gloria (Roy) Schulz of Princeton, Kan.; half-brother, Gary (Jean) Pyle of state of Kan.; half-sister, Sharon Curtis of Jasper, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, at 2 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2015 with Rev. Perry Grimsley officiating. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 28, 2015. The pallbearers will be John's son and grandsons; Ashton Davis, Nick Thomas, Greg Thomas, Matthew Sherman, Kevin Sherman and Russell Thomas. Internment will follow at the Centerton Cemetery.
