Kathleen Andrews Lamb, 94 year old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2015. Kathleen, the middle child of Oscar and Jessie Harmon Andrews was born June 16, 1921 near Wheeler, Arkansas at White Oak. She married Grady L. Lamb on January 12, 1945 and they spent 70 happy years together. She graduated from University High School in Fayetteville and also Fayetteville Business College. In 1941, she began her career as bookkeeper at Millsap Grocery in Siloam Springs. This same year Grady began working there. Later, they acquired the grocery store and spent many happy years working together, until they sold their business in 2009. Kathleen was a member of First Presbyterian Church for over 60 years, Order of Easter Star, over 50 years and a member of Chapter CE – PEO for 28 years. She loved cooking for her family and reading. Her parents, brother, Harold, and sister, LaWanna, all preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Grady; two sons, Dr. Alan L. Lamb and wife Sherri and Grady Brian Lamb and wife Debbie, all of Siloam Springs; three grandchildren, Capt. Andrew J. Lamb USAF, of Charleston, South Carolina, Alison S. Lamb of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Ashton C. Lamb of Fort Collins, Colorado. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held 11 a.m., Monday, July 6, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church, Siloam Springs, Arkansas with Rev. Breck Castleman officiating. A private family burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery. There will be a visitation, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, July 5, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church.
