David Forest Rowlan, 76, of Rogers passed away June 16, 2015 in Bentonville. He was born September 2, 1938 in Rogers the son of Oscar Forrest and Emma Ruth Rounds Rowlan. David was a parts manager for 30 years for Chevrolet and 12 years at the Devore Chrysler in Siloam Springs. He was a member of Open Door Baptist Church and served in the United States Army. Preceded in death by his parents, his son, Jeffrey Rowlan, one brother, Harold Rowlan and one sister, Dorothy Hedges. Survivors his wife, Judy Kay Edwards Rowlan of the home; three sisters, Ruth Tune Short of Fayetteville; June Nesbitt of Rogers and Connie McDaniel of Bella Vista; grandchildren, Kayanna Rowlan and Sehlliann Niksch; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday; June 19, 2015 at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers with the Rev. Dr. Randy Rowlan officiating. Interment will be in the Rogers Cemetery with full military honors by the Rogers VFW Post 3031. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
