Betty Jo Morris, youngest daughter of Roy Guy and Eva Violet Fielding departed this life Monday, June 15, 2015 at the age of 88. Many of those years were spent as a gifted pianist, as well as occupant of other positions in the Rogers Seventh-day Adventist Church of which she was a member from five years old. In 1978, Betty married Lennis W. "Bill" Morris with whom had developed an ideal response in music until her stroke intervened in 2002. She will be sorely missed, but her love for Jesus leaves us endearing hope for her future. Betty taught in the Rogers Public School System for more than thirty years, retiring in 1990. She is preceded in death by her parents. Betty Jo is survived by her husband of 38 years, Bill; two sons, Joe Holland and wife, Charlotte of Gentry, Ark. and James W. Burr and wife, Jeanie of Garfield, Ark.; three daughters, Patricia Sue Webb and husband, William (MD) of Decatur, Ark., Dianne Eva Leeman and husband, Russell of Decatur, Ark. and Candace Kay Douglas and husband, Robert of Corpus Christy, TX; two brothers, Roy Fielding and wife, Anni of Rogers and Marion "Cub" and wife, Artie of Gentry; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., this evening, June 18, 2015 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Rogers Seventh-day Adventist Church, 301 N 33rd St, Rogers, Ark. 72756. Private burial will be at Rogers City Cemetery.
