Steven J. Lear

Steven J. Lear, age 21, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on June 11, 2015. Steven was born on December 6, 1993 in Riverside, California to his loving mother, Claudia (Lear) Brubaker. Steven was a 2012 graduate of Bentonville High School in Bentonville, Arkansas, graduating with honors. Steven went on to continue studies at University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He had numerous degrees in the works, including those for chemical engineering, physics and computer science. While a college student, Steven acquired a full-time network engineer job for Walmart Corporation in Bentonville, Arkansas. He had developed a passion for various aspects of computer science while exploring his chemical engineering and physics degrees. Steven is survived by mother, Claudia (Lear) Brubaker, stepfather, Philip Brubaker, older brother, Michael Lear, and grandmother, Helen Lear. A memorial visitation/service to celebrate Steven's life will be held June 19, 2015 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights, Mich.
