Adelaida Rojas Blauw, a resident of The Gardens at Arkanshire, Springdale, Ark., passed away on May 30, 2015 at the Earlene Howard Hospice House (Circle of Life), Springdale, Ark. She was born on September 16, 1921 in Venezuela. She came to the United States in 1952 where she raised her children in Siloam Springs, Ark. She graduated the University of Arkansas in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (BSN). She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Fayetteville, Ark. She is survived by her children, Nancy (Max) Pittman McCoy of The Villages, Fla.; Allen (Linda) Pittman of The Woodlands, TX.; Patty (Maurice) Blauw Moix of Conway, Ark. and Eunice Blauw Feaster of Siloam Springs, Ark.; as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends; including her devoted friend, Dorothy Van Kirk of Springdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Charles G. Blauw; two sons, Thomas Orval Pittman, Jr. and Kenneth Leroy (Lee) Pittman; and a daughter, Betty Pittman Belloso. She was also, recently, preceded in death by her cherished companion, "Charming," her Pomerania. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of Adelaida on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Fayetteville, Ark., with Father Shaun Wesley presiding. A rosary precedes the Mass. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
