Charles W. Hicks

Charles W. Hicks, 96, of Bella Vista passed away on July 24, 2015. He was born to Roy and Elsie May Hicks on October 11, 1918 in Kansas City, Kansas. Charles enjoyed golf, dancing and parties with friends. Charles was a Systems Analyst with Hughes Aircraft in California until his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Betty L. Hare Hicks; a brother, Roy Hicks Jr.; his sisters, Rosemary Scheffler and Ruby Demaline; daughter, Sandra Mills; daughter-in-law, Donna Buckingham and four grandchildren. He served honorably in the U.S Navy during WWII. A memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the Community Church in Bella Vista on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
