Adaire Anderson, 59, of Pine Bluff died at home Sunday, July 26, 2015. A daughter of Betty Jane Beall Price of Pine Bluff and the late Thomas Wesley Price, she was born August 19, 1955 in Pine Bluff. A 1973 graduate of Pine Bluff High School, she attended Baylor University, then graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1978. She earned her Master's degree in adult education from University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2010. Returning to Pine Bluff in 1979, Adaire worked for 20 years as a teacher and librarian in the Pine Bluff School District. She later served as Manager of Corporate Education at Jefferson Regional Medical Center for eight years. She was also a reading specialist in the Shawnee Mission School District while she and her husband lived in Kansas. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pine Bluff, she was a proud seventh generation Arkansan and a direct descendant of Daniel Boone. Adaire was a member of the John McAlmont Pine Bluff Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames, the Arkansas Historical Society, Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Library Board, and a former member of the Junior League of Pine Bluff. Survivors include her husband, Patrick J. Anderson, her mother; two sons, John Thomas Anderson (Lauren) of Little Rock and Wesley Patrick Anderson (Suzanne) of Little Rock, Arkansas; sister, Merry Tom Dorris (Doug) of White Hall, Arkansas; brother, Ray Wesley Price of Pine Bluff; grandchildren, Caroline Elizabeth Anderson, Catherine Jane Anderson, Owen Thomas Anderson, Natalie Adaire Anderson, and James William Anderson; and extended family. Adaire's funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday July 29, 11 a.m., St. Joseph Church with Father Frank DuPreez, Deacon Noel F. (Bud) Bryant, and Deacon Norm DeBriyn officiating. Internment follows in Graceland Cemetery Her Vigil service is Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with visitation following until 7 p.m. Memorials are requested to St. Joseph Church, Box 7434, Pine Bluff 71611; Hospice Angels, 3801 S.
