Howard Gene Sanderson

Howard Gene Sanderson, 67, of West Fork died Thursday, July 23, 2015. He was born Aug. 5, 1947 in Beeville, Texas. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne Division. He received a Purple Heart for wounds sustained on May 8, 1968. He spent six months at Walter Reed General Hospital in Washington, D.C. He was a long-haul driver truck driver for more than 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by a sister, Donna Mounce of Farmington; sister, Linda Temple and husband, Robert of Winfield Park, N.J.; brother, Nelson Adams and wife, Beverly of Winslow; and brother, Eric Adams of Winslow.
