Kenny Joe Siems

Kenny Joe Siems of North Little Rock, passed away July 1, 2015, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 30, 1941 to Mary (Benny) and johnny Siems. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Ken; niece, Leslie Eanes and father in law, Nick Givens. Mr. Siems attended Arkansas A&M in Monticello and Henderson State College in Arkadelphia. He was an excavating contractor in central Arkansas for over 40 years. He was a member of Levy Church of Christ and England-Keo Hunting Club. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and a loyal friend. Surviving are his wife, Linn; sons Brandon (Linden) Siems of Fayetteville,Jared Siems of North Little Rock and Glenn (Manami) Workman of Newport News, Va.; sister, Shirley (Ed) Epperson; brother, john Alan Siems and mother in law, Anita Givens, all of North Little Rock. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Laurel, Forrest, Erin, Bryn and Benton Siems and Nick, Leo and Ty Workman. A memorial Service will be held Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Levy Church of Christ, 5124 Camp Robinson Road, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 at 3p.m. The family will receive visitors at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials are welcome to Levy Church of Christ for missions or River City Ministries or your favorite charity. A special thank you to our family physician and friend Dr. Joe Lee Buford and to Dr. Kamal Patel and staff for their support during his extended illness. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Lui, nurses and staff of Bowman Road Hospice for your tender care. Thank you to the England High School Class of 1959 for their love and support throughout his life.
