Michael Lawrence Sasser

Michael Lawrence Sasser, 66, of Elkins died July 2, 2015 in Elkins. He was born May 8, 1949 in Compton, CA. to Aubrey and Etta Jo Stroud Sasser. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era. Michael celebrated forty years of sobriety. He was a machinist and enjoyed working with computers and helping others. He is survived by his wife, Christine Trenholm Sasser; one son, Mark Sasser of Elkins; one daughter, Michelle Sasser of Elkins; two brothers, Phil Sasser of Elkins and Bobby Sasser of California; one sister, Jan Dinoff of California; a half-brother, Joey Johnson of Tennessee; and three grandchildren, Laken, Mason and Brynn.
