Donnie Ray Gregory, 60, of Garfield, passed away on June 28th, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. He was born in Rogers, Ark. to Velma and Clyde Gregory on June 27th, 1955. Donnie was a bighearted man who was full of life and love. He was an amazing man who's energy filled the room the minute he walked in. He never met a person he couldn't make smile or laugh. He faced many medical challenges for years and never gave up or stopped smiling. He enjoyed spending every minute he could with his family. He will be missed dearly. Donnie received a heart transplant in 2003 after an extensive battle with heart disease. He was grateful for every minute of the extra twelve years he received. The family would like to thank the staff of Saint Luke's Hospital for the outstanding care Donnie received throughout his journey. Donnie is preceded in death by parents Velma and Clyde Gregory, brother, Willis, sister, Catherine, and daughter, Tonja. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Gregory, of 44 years who stayed by his side until the very end; four daughters, Ladonya Martin and husband Terry of Rogers, Heather Stinchcomb and husband Tod of Bentonville, Kathy Stroud of Centerton, Jessica Ferris and husband Joey of Pea Ridge; 15 grandchildren, Chasity, Jason, Lucretia, Gary, Montana, Garrett, Ashley, McKenzie, Brendon, Jasmine, Brittany, Nathan, Josh, Matt, and Wyatt and one great-grandson Wesley. Survivors also include four brothers, Charles Gregory and wife Janice, Jack Gregory, Jay Gregory and wife Judy, John Gregory and wife Donna; four sisters, Carol Armstrong and husband Richard, Sue Tabor and husband Tommy, Jeanie Dold and husband John, Darlene Gregory. Numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Visitation will be Thursday, July 2nd from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Ridge church in Pea Ridge. The funeral service will be on Friday July 3rd at 11 a.m. at the Ridge church with Pastor David Austin officiating. Arrangements made by Sisco funeral home in Pea Ridge.
