Jewell McCarty

Jewell McCarty, 78, a resident of West Fork, passed away January 23, 2015 in West Fork. She was born November 11, 1936 in Fayetteville, the daughter of Harve and Atha Evans Ward. She was a member of the Unity Covenant Church in West Fork. Her biggest achievement was being a great mother to her children and grandmother to her grandchildren. She was well known for being hard working, very loving and had an amazing sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers: Norman Ward, Dennis Ward, Clayton Ward, Earl Ward, Billy Ward and Orbin Ward. She is survived by four children, Allen McCarty of Conway, Rickey Harvey of Winslow, Rita Robinson of West Fork and Sherry Eubanks of Magazine, Arkansas; nine grandchildren Norman Wilder, Jennifer Wood, Ashley McCarty, Nik McCarty, Rickey Harvey, Mesha Harvey, Alyssa Robinson, Caitlin Robinson, and Stacey Robinson, 10 great-grandchildren and one sister, Lois Guist.\ The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 3:30-5 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Monday, January 26, 2015 - 10 a.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in West Fork Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
