Lillie Dale (Maples) Brown, age 69, of Farmington, Ark. passed away on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark. Dale was born in Cherry Valley, Ark. on Feb. 13, 1945 and grew up in Taft, Calif. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Maples and the late Fannie (Mizell) Maples. Dale worked at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark. for 29 years and she had countless friends before she retired in 2005. Dale leaves her twin children, son, Brian G. Brown of Little Rock, Ark. and daughter, Sheri Lynn (Brown) Tuck of Farmington, Ark.; her grandson, Kelton H. Knipmeyer of Farmington, Ark.; her sister, Emilie Pannell and brother-in-law, Donald Pannell, both of Clarksville, Ark. Dale also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Dale was an extraordinary woman and in her youth, she enjoyed horseback riding, competitive archery, painting and drawing. She continued her painting into her later years and also enjoyed genealogy, shopping, cooking and traveling. Her family and friends were blessed with her sweet and funny spirit and enjoyed many happy times with her. A memorial service in celebration of Dale's life is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015 at Beard's Funeral Chapel, in Fayetteville, Arkansas at 1:00 pm.
