Lockie Bowen

Lockie Bowen, 96 a resident of Fayetteville, passed away January 14, 2015 at her home. She was born November 19, 1918 in Scranton, Arkansas, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Stephens Lile. Lockie was a member of the Farmington Baptist Church. She was active in the Farmington Senior Center and helped initiate the installation of the Farmington Veterans Memorial. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Bowen Sr in 1993. Survivors include six children: Charles R Bowen Jr of Fayetteville, Frances Blakeley also of Fayetteville, Ray Bowen of Huntsville, Samuel Bowen of West Fork, Elizabeth Safa of Orange, California and Stephen Bowen San Burnadino, California; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday January 20, 2015 2 p.m., Farmington Baptist Church.
