Lois Louise Deen

Lois Louise Deen, 81, of Bentonville passed away Saturday, January 10. She was born in Bentonville on April 21, 1933 to the late Chester and Erma Jane Poor Hutcheson. After retiring from a career in foodservice she enjoyed gardening, drinking coffee with her neighbor Thelma and loved spending time with her family and fur-babies. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jesse "Ernie" Deen; her grandson, Phillip Patton; a sister and three brothers. Survivors include her husband J.E. Deen of the home; her daughter, Brenda and son-in-love Gary Townzen of Rogers; a sister, Wilma Whorton of Lincoln; a brother, Hershel (Chris) Hutcheson of Bentonville; five granddaughters, Cari Taylor, Ruthie Cain, Beverly Deen, Stephanie Scates and Amber Stover; two grandsons, Kiley and Derek Townzen and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Friday, January 16 from 10-noon in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home and Graveside Funeral Service will follow at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Bentonville Cemetery.
