Fay Lombard Elsea

Fay Lombard Elsea of Bentonville, 91, passed away on Jan. 8, 2015, in Fayetteville. She was born on June 20, 1923, in Twelve Corners, Ark., to the late Willie James and Jewel (Mahurin) Lombard. She was a charter member of Zion's Rest Primitive Baptist Church in Bentonville. She was a homemaker and farmed with her husband east of Hiwasse. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Elsea in November 2004. They celebrated 64 years of marriage in June 2004. Fay was also preceded in death by her daughter, Annetta Louise Purser in July 2005; her parents; two brothers, Neal Lombard and Jay Lombard; and sister, Vivian Kappel. Survivors include a son, Billy Leon Elsea of Bentonville; three daughters, Cloetta Fay Walker and husband, Cliff, of Laporte, Texas, Glenda Marie Crowder of Lowell, Patricia Naoma Neely and husband, Van, of Fayetteville; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. A visitation will be on Monday, Jan. 12, 2015, from 5 until 7 p.m. in Callison-Lough Funeral Home, Bentonville. Funeral will be on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Callison-Lough chapel.
