Ramah Jean Gwartney

Ramah Jean Gwartney, age 83 of Springdale, passed away Dec. 30, 2014. Ramah was born April 4, 1931, in Kansas City, Kan., to William Endicott and Bethel Mae Hutchins. She enjoyed gardening, her cats and spending time with her family. Ramah was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Billy Joe Canoy and Joe Billy Canoy; and step-daughter, Glenda Swearingen. She is survived by her husband, Charles of Springdale; sons, William David Canoy and wife Barbara of Star, Mo., and Ira Lee Canoy and wife Nancy of Springdale; daughters, Marsha Stephenson of Little Rock and Remonah Willson and husband Todd of Goshen; sisters, Betty Cash and husband Jim of Cave Springs, Donna Blake of Birmingham, Ala., and Ginger Howton and husband Ernest of Palestine, Ark.; brother, Johnny Endicott of Harrison; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at The Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W.Walnut, Rogers.
