William James Ray

Mr. William James Ray, age 73, of Fayetteville formally of California and Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away, Saturday, February 21st, 2015, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. Mr. Ray was born December 27, 1941, in Los Angeles, California, to Robert Elwood and Virginie Emily Johnson Ray. Mr. Ray was a High School Auto Shop teacher for over 29 years and a member of Trinity Fellowship Assembly of God Church in Fayetteville. Mr. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Janis Dean Ray. Mr. Ray is survived by his wife Laura Ray of Fayetteville, Arkansas, son, Eric Ray and wife Tara of Pennsylvania, brother, Walter Ray of Bakersville, California, grandchildren, Madelyne Ray and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Memory service for Mr. Ray will be 2 p.m., Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Trinity Fellowship Assembly of God Church 1100 East Rolling Hills Fayetteville, Arkansas with Pastor Darrin Rogers officiating. Arrangements by Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W Walnut, Rogers, Arkansas.
