Ron Turner

Ron Turner, 72, of Fayetteville, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015 in Fayetteville. He was born Jul. 12, 1942 in Rudd, Ark., the son of Roy R. Turner and Maudie J. Miller. Ron had served as former deacon for Charity Baptist Church and former owner of Turner's General Construction. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Bill Wilson; one brother, Lawrence L. Turner; and nephew, Jay Turner. Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Turner of 53 years; four children, David Turner and wife, Lisa, of Elkins, Cindy Head and husband Jeff, JoAnn Wood, and Mike Turner and wife, Misty, all of Fayetteville; one sister, Lavone Phillips of Springdale; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015 at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery in Springdale.
