Jimmie "J.W." Jetton, 90, a resident of Cane Hill, went home to be with the Lord on February 20, 2015 at his home. He was born May 18, 1924 in Fitzhugh, Oklahoma, the son of Joshua and Hattie Jetton. J.W. was a member of the Hale Mountain Holiness Church where he previously served as a elder for many years. He served in the United States Army Air Force and retired from the University of Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Dick, Bill, Lee, Jack, and Lonnie; seven sisters, Helen, Pearl, Bondola, Hester, Mattie, Lillie, and Mae Bell. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Marjorie Barker Jetton; one son, Jimmie Jetton and wife Nancy of Morrow; four daughters, Karen Shannon and husband Leroy of Morrow, Glenda Ricketts and husband Jerry of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; Barbara Anderson of Cane Hill, and Judy Provence and husband Leon of Cane Hill; one sister Laverne Sargent of Prairie Grove; 15 grandchildren, Jimmy Jetton III, Nicole Carlson, Tanya Drummond, Carla Cox, Candra Osnes, Steve Shannon, Jeff and Jerry Ricketts, Becky King, Melissa Deckard, Mike Anderson, Natasha Hiller, Ronnie and Rodney Provence, and DeShawna Clark; 33 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2-3 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 23, 2015 - 10 a.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove.cBurial will be in Bethesda Cemetery near Morrow, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
