Sue J. "Whodee" Moffett

Sue J. "Whodee" Moffett of Wesley passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord Jesus on Feb. 12, 2015. Born on July 6, 1934, she was 80 years old. Sue was a 1951 graduate of the Huntsville State Vocational school and attended business school. She retired from a career in banking. Sue found her greatest joy in her family. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Sue Grooms and husband, Andy of Ruidoso, N.M.; by her son, Jay Moffet and wife, Toni of Wesley, Ark. and her daughter, Mollie Marie Oeftering and husband, Eric of Los Alamitos, Calif. She was a grandmother to Brooke, Afton, Eric, Andrew, Neely and Weslie. She had four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her dearest friend from childhood, Lynn Marksbury. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Johnson and her parents, Afton and Marie Johnson. She leaves behind a legacy of comfort, faithful love and grace. There will be a memorial service in celebration of her life on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net in Huntsville, Ark.
