Zula Faye Allen, 91, of Centerton went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Friday, February 6th in Springdale. On September 30, 1923, Zula arrived on her mother's birthday. She was born at Fern, Arkansas to the late Rufus Benjamin Holt and Nellie Rosie Garland Holt. Zula married Joseph Raymond Allen on May 16, 1942 at Mountainburg, Arkansas. They were inseparable for 72 years of marriage. Zula and Raymond moved to the Centerton area in 1942 where Zula became a teacher and homemaker. She was a faithful member of Radiant Life Church in Bentonville for 54 years. Most of her life consisted of sacrificial acts of love for her family. She worked diligently to help them achieve their goals. The heirloom quilts and beautiful clothes she created will always be cherished by the ones she loved. Her only sibling, Clarence Holt, and sister-in-law, Ruth, of Springdale preceded her in death. She was also predeceased by a great-niece, Abigail Smith. Survivors include her husband, Raymond, of Centerton; two daughters and husbands, Marilyn (Douglas) Shultz, Sheila (Bradley) Morris; two grandchildren, Scott Morris and Jillian (Cameron) Ramoly all of Springdale; two nieces and husbands, Barbara (Rodney) Springston and Sandra (Ronnie) Harvey along with great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and the Celebration of Life service will be Friday at 10 a.m., all in the Chapel at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Interment will be at 3 p.m. in Locke Community Cemetery in Locke, Franklin County, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. www.RollinsFuneral.com.
