Aileen Parmenter

Aileen Parmenter, age 92, of Rogers, died February 2, 2015, in Rogers. She was born September 2, 1922 in Winslow, Arkansas, the daughter of Daniel and Elois Dockery McCracken. She was of the Church of Christ faith and enjoyed painting, knitting, sewing and gardening. She had owned and operated a Motel on Route 66 and had owned a dress shop. Mrs. Parmenter is preceded by her husband, Jack Parmenter, her parents, one brother and one sister. She is survived by many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces along with a host of friends. Visitation will be Friday, February 6, 2015, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery, in Winslow, Arkansas with Randall Caselman officiating.
