Michael Gregg Pritchard

Michael Gregg Pritchard, age 66, of Fayetteville, Arkansas died Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in Fayetteville. He was born February 13, 1949 in Fayetteville to Ross Joseph and Emily Gregg Pritchard. He graduated from the University of Arkansas (Phi Beta Kappa) in 1971 and Yale Law School in 1974. Michael began his career as an attorney for the Wisconsin Indian Legal Services and continued it as a lawyer for the Micronesia Legal Services. Later he served as the Executive Director of the Ozark Legal Services in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the Palmetto Legal Services in Columbia, South Carolina and the Center for Public Representation in Madison, Wisconsin. His mother, Emily Gregg Pritchard and brother, Russell Gregg, preceded Michael in death. Michael is survived by his daughter, Cora Morrison Rich and husband Scott of Grand Junction, Colorado, his daughter, Irene Marie Pritchard of Fayetteville, his grandchildren, Emily Rich, Jack and Bella Morrison, his father, Ross Pritchard of Fayetteville, his three brothers, Vol and Mehran Pritchard of Fayetteville, Ross and wife Becky Pritchard of Wellsville, Kansas and his two sisters, Fereshteh Richard and Irene C. Pritchard and husband Thomas Brown of Fayetteville. A Memorial Service will be held at St Paul's Episcopal Church on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to 7Hills Homeless Center, 112 West Center Street, Suite 300, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72702.
