Deloris Sullivan Whited, 81, of Bentonville, Ark. died December 26, 2015 at the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. She was born on July 23, 1934 in Centerton, Ark. to Edward Sullivan and Hazel Cawood Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gary Sullivan and husband of 54 years, Kenneth Whited. Deloris moved to Anaheim California in 1957. She retired from the Anaheim Union High School District in 1985 and moved to her farm in Centerton, Ark. She loved to play her fiddle and piano as well as travel around the country in her motorhome with Kenneth and her beloved Border Collie. Survivors include two sons, Steve Whited and his wife, Jan Whited of Pensacola, Florida, Mike Whited and his wife, Laura Whited of Bentonville, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Craig Whited and his wife, Donna Whited of Bentonville, Candice Whited of Bentonville, Elizabeth Whited of Bentonville and two great-grandchildren, Hayden and Cooper Whited of Bentonville. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services There will be a time of reflection in the chapel at 3:30pm with the Rev. Katie Cummings officiating. Private burial will be in Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers. Memorials may be made in honor of Deloris Whited to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
