Greg Vantine, age 44, of Bella Vista, passed from this life on Dec. 17, 2015, at Circle of Life Hospice, Legacy Village, in Bentonville. He was born in Rogers on Feb. 26, 1971. Greg was a 1989 graduate of Rogers High School and later received his Associate Degree. He continued his education in plumbing school and became a very successful master plumber. He taught plumbing at NWACC for more than 8 years and was a volunteer firefighter in Rogers for 16 years. Greg was raised and baptized in Rogers First Baptist Church. He later joined Fellowship Bible Church in Rogers where he attended for 10 years, and most recently he attended Grace Point Church in Bentonville. Greg was an avid outdoorsman who found peace in God's creation, whether hunting, fishing, or camping. Survivors include his wife, Stephanie (Shields) Vantine; children, Cole, Kennedy, and Landon; mother, Donna Gully and husband Don of Little Flock; sister, Joey Gall and husband Joe of Prairie Creek; parents-in-law, Duane and Treva Shields of Rogers; sisters-in-law, Julie Montgomery and husband Kevin of Little Flock, Debbie Judd and husband Leland of Rogers; four nieces and eight nephews; step-brothers, Chad Gully of Sepulpa, Okla., Michael Gully and wife Jodie of Midland, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Joey Vantine; maternal grandparents, Fate and Ruby Miller; and paternal grandparents, Jack and Melva Jo Vantine; a step-sister Carrie Gully Byrd. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, at Grace Point Church of Northwest Arkansas, 1201 McCollum Drive in Bentonville. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Greg Vantine Family Fund through any Arvest Bank in Northwest Arkansas. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
