On December 19, 2015, God called Jimmy Ray Craft's number, it was time to go home to Jesus, no more pain, he's surely singing in the angel's choir, at peace waiting for us. Jimmy Ray Craft was born October 18, 1938 in Dwale, Ky., to Ed and Rhoda Craft. He served in the USMC from 1955 to 1961 as an ammunition technician. Jimmy worked for the USDA for 25 years, did contract work for the US Army Corps of Engineers for three years, and worked for the Gentry Schools for five years. He married Bonita Olson Nunn "Bonnie" on April 15, 1989 in Gentry, Ark. As a young man in USMC, surgery took away his singing voice. As he approached middle age, God restored his singing voice and Jimmy vowed to sing for the Glory of God. He sang at many area churches, blessing many people. He also assisted several times in promoting gospel concerts. In recent years, he attended First Assembly of God in Siloam Springs. He loved the land he lived on for 45 years, many years working his cattle and in later years, his gardens. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Rhoda Craft; and two sisters, Olga and Margaret. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Craft; two brothers, John Craft of California, and Eddie Craft and wife Avis of Laddonia, Mo.; two sons, Zachary Craft and Spencer Craft of Fayetteville, Ark.; stepson, Doug Reeve of Siloam Springs, Arka.; one daughter, Sabrina Craft; one granddaughter, Meri; great-grandsons, Travis and Braydin of Siloam Springs; one grandson, Richard Millé and wife Nicole; great-granddaughters, Destiny, Melissa, and Dot of Klamath Falls, Ore.; stepchildren, Mark Nunn of Montana, Lisa Nunn of Minnesota, and Cassandra Nunn of North Dakota; mother-in-love, Rose Olson of Fargo, N.D. and widespread Olson clan; and Olga's daughters, Starre, Edie and Franka of Montana. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark., with Pastor Gary Wheat officiating. Burial will follow at Gentry Cemetery, Gentry, Ark. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Wasson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Assembly of God Jacob's Hope, 927 S.
