Charles Franklin Garrett

Charles Franklin Garrett, 76, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died December 16, 2015, at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Arkansas. Born June 24, 1939, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, he was the son of Tom Henry and Dollie Garrett who lived in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Charles attended and graduated from the Hillcrest School, Tulsa, Oklahoma of Nursing graduating as a Registered Nurse, in 1974. He later went on the St. Francis School of Anesthesiology, in Wichita, Kansas, graduating in 1980. Charles worked at various hospitals over his 41 year career ending at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital, where he worked for 17 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Peggy Puls. Survivors include his daughter Amy Fielder and husband Kevin of Bentonville, Arkansas; sons Charles Patrick Garrett and wife Barbara of Denton, Texas and Lt. Col. Greg Garrett and wife Bobbie of Elgin, Oklahoma; grandchildren Grant Fielder, Lydia Fieler, Ira Felder, Hannah Garrett, Kale Garrett, Ryland Burns, Sydney Garrett, Haden Pike, Gavin Garrett and Braxton Gonzales; sister Tommye Strassheim and husband Jim of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
