Dorothy L. Batusic

Dorothy Louise Batusic, 90, of Siloam Springs, Ark. passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015 at her home. Dorothy was born May 16, 1925 in Gary, Ind.; she was the daughter of Samuel and Louise Zabrdac. She was the widow of the late Andrew Batusic. Dorothy retired from the Illinois Bell Telephone Co. She enjoyed the outdoors, her pets and was an avid reader of Scripture. Survivor's include: daughters, Deborah Lynn Rongers, Fayetteville, Ark., Laurie & Bill Brucken, Rogers, Ark.; four grandchildren: Heather, Zachary, Luke & Jacob; nine great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Alexis, Tristan, Layton, Elise, Emily, Stella, Andrew & Londyn; one great-great-grandchild, Oliver. Dorothy is also survived by many friends and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Andrew, granddaughter, Andreana Nibbe, two brothers, John & Sam Jr. and a sister, Helen. No visitation is scheduled at this time. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 3 p.m. at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel in Siloam Springs. A private burial will be held at Springtown Cemetery in Springtown, Ark. under the direction of Backstrom – Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Ark.
