James Austin Parish, Jr.

James Austin Parish, Jr., 70, of Fayetteville died Friday, August 21, 2015 in Fayetteville. He was born June 12, 1945 to James and Eythel Rushing Parish. He was an Eagle Scout and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. James was a carpenter, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, yard sales and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Linda Parish of the home; son, Brian Parish of Fayetteville; daughters, Carmen Newberry and husband, Tom of Fayetteville and Kelly Britton and husband, John of Fayetteville; sister, Ada Younkin and husband, Jim; brother, Lynn Parish; stepson, Derek Norby and wife, Etta of Springdale; stepdaughters, Holly Castaneda of California, Dawn Keith and husband, John of Oklahoma and Paige Angst and husband, Noelan of Fayetteville; two grandsons, two granddaughters, six step-grandsons, two step-granddaughters; and three great-grandkids. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m.. Friday, August 28, 2015 at Beard's Chapel with Reverend Jim Huffman officiating. Cremation arrangements by Beard's Chapel.
