Ray Cooper, 80, passed away August 22, 2015 at home in Rogers. He was born on August 16, 1935 in Perryville, Arkansas to the late Henry and Rebecca (Spencer) Cooper. He was the loving husband of 60 years, to Emma (Fowler) Cooper. Ray was a machinist for many years at Capital Records and Allied Records, Calif., and at Rick's Machine Shop in Lowell. He enjoyed woodworking, playing guitar, working in the yard with his grandsons, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of Rogers; three daughters, Evelyn Trinidad, Deborah Cooper and Beverly Cooper all of Rogers; three brothers, Johnny Cooper of Ohio, Gilbert Cooper of Texas and Lealon Cooper of Texas; two granddaughters, April Fielding, Elizabeth Herron and husband Jimmy Herron; two grandsons, Manuel Trinidad and Andy Trinidad and wife, Ashley; and one great-grandson, Gavin Cole; and many nieces and nephews. Ray was predeceased by his parents; sister, Cora Ruth; and brothers Guy Cooper, Jess Cooper, Irvin Cooper and Frank Cooper. A visitation will be on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 5 until 7 p.m. in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. His funeral will be on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Rollins Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Bentonville City Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.rollinsfuneral.com.
