Chester Gross

Chester W. Gross, 75, passed away August 19th. He was a loving husband to Nancy and doggie Dad to his Miss Mollie. Bill left behind three children Jeff, Lisa, and Darin; and five grandchildren Cody, Hestin, Ryan, Brandon, and Alyssa. Bill was born and raised in Santa Ana, California. He spent 32 years on the Santa Ana Fire Department and retired to Bella Vista with his wife in 1994. They both became avid golfers. Bill enjoyed playing golf with the Fosters and Lakers. He was active in the crime watch program and was the captain of his neighborhood watch program. Bill loved his children, all of his dogs, and watching and feeding the birds and deer. Bill's love for dogs led him to become actively involved in the maintenance of the K-9 Corral Dog Park in Bella Vista and was known as the "poop bag guy". However his most cherished position was team driver for Nancy and Miss Mollie when they did therapy activities. There will be no services and he will be laid to rest at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers, Ark. In lieu of flowers, Bill asked for donations to be made in his name to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter K-9 Corral.
