Phyllis D. Price

Phyllis D. Price, age 88, of Fayetteville, died Saturday Aug. 15, 2015 in Fayetteville. She was born Jan. 25, 1927 in Wesley, Ark., the daughter of Clyde and Ethel May Johnson Counts. She was preceded in death by her husband Gene Price; a brother, Quinton Counts and a sister, Rose Counts. She was a beautiful mother and homemaker. She is survived by a son, Mike G. Price and his wife Brenda of Fayetteville; two daughters, Brenda Smolen of Tulsa, Okla. and Jody Fenter and her husband Glen of West Memphis, Ark.; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Monday August 17 at McCord Cemetery. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. at McCord Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel. The family gives a special thank you to the caregivers at Katherine's Place and Willard Walker Hospice Home.
