Thomas H. Sheely

Thomas H. Sheely passed away suddenly on April 16, 2015 in Cottonwood, Ariz. He was born on December 24, 1946 in Dallas. Parents were the late Carl and Minta Sheely. Tom graduated from University of North Texas and moved to Bentonville, Ark. in 1978 and became the Tennis Pro for Bella Vista Village. He was asked by Sam Walton to become first Director of the Walton Life Fitness Center in Bentonville before starting his own business, OnTarget Golf Center in Bentonville, which included Tom's patented golf range game, "On Target Golf". He worked in various golf related positions after moving to Las Vegas, Nev. and moved to Cottonwood, Ariz. in 2013 as Golf Pro at Coyote Trails Golf Course. Tom is survived by wife, Leslie Sheely; son, Brian Sheely; daughter, Renee Sheely; two grandchildren; and brothers, Carl and John Sheely.
