Joseph Earl Femmer

Joseph Earl Femmer, 87, of Rogers passed away Sunday, April 12th. He was born December 9, 1927 in Truxton, Missouri to the late Fredrick and Bertha Femmer. Following service as a proud member of the US Marine Corp and graduation from Washington University, he began his career in sales. His career lead him to St. Louis and Louisville before landing in NW Arkansas. For six years he served Benton County as a Justice of the Peace. His interests ranged from hunting to theatre, music, playing bridge and cheering the Missouri Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals. But he cherished the time he shared with his family Survivors include Mary Ballard Femmer, his loving wife of more than 20 years; his son, Brad (Lucy) Femmer of Missouri; his daughter, Rise Ann (Roger) Sieben of Wisconsin and three grandchildren, Anna (Jason) Burns, Elaine Femmer and A.J. Femmer all of Missouri. A memorial service will be held in June at Zion Methodist Cemetery in Truxton, Missouri.
