Mildred "MillIe" Berger

Mildred "Millie" Berger, age 95, died April 2, 2015, in Bentonville, Ark. Millie was born June 19, 1919, to Paul and Julia Czapkowicz in Chicago, Ill. Millie was a devoted mother, homemaker and loving grandmother. She was a milliner and taught the art of hat making, collected and sold antiques and tended a beautiful flower garden at her former home in Wisconsin where she resided until 2012. Millie is survived by her son Michael (Judy) Berger of Washington Island, Wis. and daughter Nina (Richard) Johnson of Bella Vista, Ark.; five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Ben, her husband of 58 years. Services will be held in Wisconsin.
