Martha Beatrice Lanier

Martha Beatrice Lanier, 93, of Rogers died Sept. 27, 2014, in Fayetteville. She was born on Feb. 6, 1921, to the late Robert Earnest and Cora Dell (Bennett) Seabolt. She was the loving wife of the late Alvin York Lanier. Martha really loved her church, Charity Baptist, and was a faithful member for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sister, Mary Ola McVey. Martha is survived by her son, Bobby Lanier and his wife, Dotty, of Arizona; daughter, Pat Chaple and her husband, Harry, of Huntsville, Ark.; sister, Editha "Dot" Blakeney; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at Rollins Funeral Home chapel.
