Nell Rose Carter

Nell Rose Carter, 88, formerly of El Dorado, Ark., and residing in Springdale, Ark., went to be with the Lord Monday, Sept. 22, 2014. She was born Sept. 3, 1926, in Warren, Ark. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas Marks and Lydia May Marks; two brothers, W.T. "Dub" Marks and James Marks; one sister, Doris Treece; and her daughter, Judy Kay Dunn. She is survived by one son, Randy Carter, Hot Springs Village, Ark.; and one daughter, Sherry Vicknair, Dallas, Texas; three grandkids, Michelle Dunn Crozier, Scott Dunn, Alison Andrews; and eight great-grandkids. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, at Smith-Morgan Cemetery, near Fordyce, Ark. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
