Jeffie M. Knight

Jeffie M. Knight, 82, a resident of Prairie Grove, Ark., passed away Sept. 21, 2014, at Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born Aug. 29, 1932, in Mullenburg County, Ky., the daughter of Charlie and Elsie Clarice Casibeer Hope. Jeffie was married to Newman W. Knight and had five children, Wilma and Jack Whitler, Billie Durham, Larry and Pamela Knight, Deborah and Don Gosk, and Charles (Fud) and Phyllis Knight; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren. She lived, raised the family and worked in Kentucky, Illinois and Arkansas. The family will receive friends on Wednesday afternoon from 2-3 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, 3 p.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, with burial in Wildwood Park Cemetery in Rockford, Ill. Second funeral service will be held Monday, Sept. 29, 2014, 2 p.m. at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service in Rockford, Ill., with burial in Willwood Cemetery in Rockford, Ill.
