Claud Cecil Lynch, 74, of Rogers passed away Sept. 17, 2014, in Bentonville. He was born April 26, 1940, in Clifty, Ark., the son of the Rev. WM. Claud and Ruth Todd Lynch. Cecil formerly worked at Hawkins Plumbing Company and retired from Daisy Manufacturing Company, where he helped with the International BB Gun Shooting Championship. He was a member of Monte Ne Baptist Church in Rogers. Cecil enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; he also enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing hunting and playing softball. He also helped coach his son's baseball team for many years. Preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bill Gene Lynch; two sisters, Virginia Phillips, Zelda Lawson and husband, Ben. Survived by his wife, Rebecca Laughlin Lynch of the home; his children, Allen Lynch and wife, Nina, of Rogers, Reba Goff of Rogers and Sue Fancher of Gravette; grandchildren, Becka Goff of Rogers, Gunner Fancher of Conway and Colt Fancher of Gravette; step-grandchild, Harold Turner of Bentonville; and two stepgreat-grandchildren, Maria and Kowin. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, at Monte Ne Baptist Church, with Pastor Mack Mills officiating. Interment will follow in the Pea Ridge Cemetery. Visitation 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Monte Ne Baptist Church Building Fund.
