Marvin Gene Frazier

Marvin Gene Frazier, 77, of Rogers died Sept. 15, 2014, in Bentonville. He was born on Sept. 7, 1937, in Cassville, Mo., to the late Theodore Franklin and Rhoda Jane (Russell) Frazier. He was the loving husband of over 40 years to Martha Marie (Farris) Frazier. Marvin had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his family making them laugh. He also enjoyed working on cars and watching Westerns. He is survived by his sons, Marvin Frazier Jr. and wife, Joyce, of Kansas, Okla., and Theodore Frazier of Rogers; daughters, Marsha Graham of Mountain Home and Tina Smith of Rogers; sisters, Mary Mitchell and husband, Tom, of Wheaton, Mo., Neoma Osburn of Rogers, and Shirley Stroud and husband, Leo, of Centerton; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Marvin is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Elmer Frazier and Carmen Frazier; sister, Allie Mae Rivera; and half-brothers, Roy Borought and Thomas Taylor. A visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, from 5 until 7 p.m. in Rollins Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will be Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, at 2 p.m. in Russell Cemetery, farm road 1102, North of Cassville. Online condolences can be made at www.rollinsfuneral.com.
