Bob Hankins

Bob Hankins, age 80, of Elkins passed away Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, in Fayetteville. He was born Nov. 1, 1933, in Asher, Ark., to Nolen and Edith Patrick Hankins. He was a member of Crystal Hills Family Fellowship Church in Elkins. Retired from Tyson Foods, was an avid outdoorsman and team roper for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Coy Hankins, Lona Hankins, Wayne Hankins and Jim Hankins. He is survived by three daughters, Beverly Mabry and her husband Jack of Elkins, Ark.; Brenda Jones and her husband Mike of Elkins, Becky Smith and her husband Rusty of West Fork, Ark.; son, Roger Hankins and his wife Regina of Lowell, Ark.; two brothers, Bud Hankins and his wife Darlene of Elkins and Bill Hankins of Fayetteville, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crystal Hills Family Fellowship Church in Elkins with burial to follow at Patrick Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
