Emma Lois Fisher, 89, of Springdale, Ark., formerly of Fort Smith, died Sept. 11, 2014, in Springdale. She was born Feb. 17, 1925, in Booneville, Ark., to Ellis Wingfield and Terry G. Foster Cauthron. She was a retired cafeteria manager for the Fort Smith Public School System and a member of the Grand Avenue Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Terry and husband, Kent Martin, of Fayetteville, Ark., and Tammy Speaks of Greenwood, Ark.; one sister, Helen Couvillion of Fort Smith; two brothers, Douglas Cauthron of Augusta, Kan., and Billy Bob Cauthron of Booneville, Ark.; three grandchildren, Greg and Chris Martin, and Paige Speaks; and four great-grandchildren, Landon, Anna Claire, Manning and Addison Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Fisher. Funeral service will be Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, at 11 a.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home chapel, with burial to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery of Fort Smith, all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Greg Martin, Chris Martin, Kent Martin, Mike Cauthron, Ron Presnell and Eric Martin.
