Lyndal Leroy McGee, 83, of Gravette, Ark., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at Circle of Life in Springdale, Ark. He was born Nov. 1, 1930, in Tuttle, Okla., to Jesse Lee McGee and Cora Myrtle McGee. He was a great man and a hard worker, farming his own land in Gravette for many years. Lyndal was very active in the church and served as a deacon at Mason Valley Baptist Church. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather to his entire family and friend to many. He is preceded in death by one son, Jimmy McGee; one daughter, Tammy McGee; two grandchildren, Jesse McGee and Rick Nehrbas; and one brother, Eugene McGee. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Margaret Staats McGee; three children, Randy Lynn (Darla) McGee of Siloam Springs, Ark., Larry Leon (Sandy) McGee of Gravette and Linda Christine (Rob) Nehrbas of Scottsdale, Ariz.; daughter-in-law, Jodi Olive (McGee) of Lewisburg, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Virgil McGee; and two sisters, Betty Clardy and Leota Sisk. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, at First Christian Church in Gravette, with the Rev. Terry Longan officiating. Burial will follow at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time.
