Gloria Lee Newberry

Gloria Lee Newberry, age 62, a resident of Little Flock and for the last four years at Springdale Health and Rehab in Springdale, passed away on Sept. 9, 2014, after a 10-year battle with Alzheimer's. She is now with our Lord and Savior where there is no more pain and suffering. She was born in Paris, Ark., on March 19, 1952, to the late Boyd Lynn and Tracy Marie (Everett) Nunnelee. Gloria was a retired hair dresser working for over 32 years in this field serving her family and customers. She loved her family and had great pleasure with her horses. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and her favorite 30-year-old horse, Candy who died two months ago. Survivors include her husband, Gary Newberry of Little Flock; two sons, Jamie Newberry and fiancee, Le-Ann Sprenkle, and children of Pleasant Hill, Mo., Chris Newberry of Palatine, Ill.; one granddaughter, Ashlynn Burkett and husband, Michael, of Bentonville; one great-grandson and two stepgreat-grandchildren; sister, Tracy Butler and husband, Al, of Pea Ridge; brother, Mark Nunnelee of Pea Ridge; several nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, at the chapel of Fellowship Bible Church in Rogers. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at the Lodge of Fellowship Bible Church, with Phil Newberry and Mark Schatzman officiating. Burial will be private. Pallbearers will be Jamie Newberry, Chris Newberry, Al Butler, Allen Newberry, Michael Burkett and Mike Rhodes.
